Andrea Scholze (1988) is currently working in Oslo, Norway and is a masterstudent at Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
Her work mainly consists of ceramic sculptures that express the darker aspect of man.
They reflect on man's position, the move towards a dystopian society and the ecological consequences of that we continually require our space.
The work deal with the collision of species and changes in habitat. They reflect on man's destructive behavior throughout history, and the result of the encounter between man and nature.
